Meeting a girl friend for lunch Quaint building and comfortable decor Every thing on the menu looks good Nice out front patio Normal burger with fries Good service Could be a good regular place
Planned to meet friends and have a light breakfast at Richard's Coffee Shop, but since they were renovating their kitchen (apparently Lowe's donated $250k to have a brand new kitchen put in for this cherished location for Vets), we decided to hit this spot. I was pleasantly surprised at this charming spot as we were seated quickly for a table of 11. We were led upstairs near the bar and apparently the staff didn't realize that condensation was constantly dripping onto one seat (so we just shifted all the 3 joined tables a few feet). At 1030/11am on a Monday and there were plenty of empty seats. They have a very reasonable $7.5-$9.5 kids menu. I had the SW omelet swapping bell peppers w onions; the omelet was decent, but the potatoes benefited w some salt and seasoning. It even came with a biscuit which I couldn't stuff anymore. Value was pretty good! Would I come back here again? A most definite yes!
I am a 100% disabled veteran in a wheelchair. I am from NH and I am down here checking out the race shops and everything NASCAR. I rolled up and down the street on the walk of Fame and came across this gem. I noticed it had a step. I said so what, it looks amazing and I'm going in. Let me tell you I have never met such wonderful people in my life. A gentleman helped me outside and the kindest lady helped me and my chair through the door. I wish I knew who she was as she paid for my meal. Thank you I ordered the Ruben sandwich. OMG it was the best sandwich I have ever had. I had to eat it with a fork and knife because It was so big. I would like to say thank you for the help, the kindness and the hospitality from the employees and the customers. Why can't the world be more like Mooresville. The food is delicious. But why the turkey? Haha Thank you, Steve Elwell
Visited friends in Mooresville. My first time at Famous Toastery. This was their recommendation for breakfast. It right on Main Street. Breakfast is served all day. I tried the famous hash - I was happy with this choice. My friends ordered the flapjacks - they looked great. Next visit, I'll try the country benedict ... so many good choices here. Restaurant is clean, and service is great. There is a small sitting area downstairs, but upstairs is nicer.
Great food, great service, friendly staff, great bloody mary's! Friendly staff and very attentive!
